Art Hurtado - President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Hurtado is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in
management and technical positions in communications for both the commercial and
government sectors. Prior to co-founding Invertix, Mr. Hurtado was the Senior Vice
President, Telecommunications, for CACI, Inc. and served as the Chief Scientist
during the early stages of development of the Public Safety Wireless Network. He
also served with distinction as an officer in the U.S. Army, where he managed a
variety of communications and intelligence systems programs. Mr. Hurtado holds a
MSEE from New Mexico State University and a BS in Chemistry from Southwest
Missouri State University.
Bryan Judd - Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Judd has nearly 20 years of experience in financial management and corporate
administration. He is responsible for the company's finance functions as well as
legal, contracts, banking and the administration of employee benefit programs.
Prior to Invertix, Mr. Judd was the East Coast Business Manager of SM&A
Corporation, a public consulting services company with annual revenues of over
$100 million (subsequently acquired by L-3). In addition to his financial
reporting responsibilities, he was instrumental in successfully integrating the
financial systems and employee benefits plans of acquired companies. Mr. Judd
holds BS degrees in Finance and Accounting from George Mason University and currently sits
on the Board of Directors at the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce.
Craig Parisot - Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Parisot has primary responsibility for corporate strategy, technology, hiring,
marketing, communications, and business development activities. He has over 16 years
of public and private sector experience including service as an officer in the United
States Air Force and support to the U.S. Intelligence Community. Mr. Parisot received
his MBA from California State Polytechnic University and a BA degree in English from
the University of South Carolina. He serves on the Board of Advisors of the Intelligence
and National Security Alliance (INSA), the Board of Directors of Volunteer Fairfax, and is
a member of the Emerging Professionals in Intelligence Committee (EPIC), part of AFCEA
Intelligence. Among his other interests and pursuits in business and the community, he
is a PMI certified Project Management Professional.
Dr. Dan Law - Vice President & Chief Scientist
Dr. Law has 16 years of experience in technology development and management in
fields including cloud computing, plasma physics, bio-technology, and wireless
communications. He currently develops and implements corporate technology
strategy, oversees company labs, leads forum of company technologists,
facilitates internal and external technology communications, and leads IR&D
and IP development efforts spanning 3 corporate mission areas. Dr. Law has a
B.A. degree with high honors in Astronomy and Physics from Wesleyan University,
a PhD in Plasma Physics from Oxford University and has completed two
post-doctoral fellowships, one developing techniques for plasma processing at
Oxford University and one working on statistical techniques for gene
classification at the University of Singapore.
Deborah Beckworth - Vice President & Business Unit Manager
Ms. Beckworth brings over 30 years of combined military intelligence and corporate experience to
Invertix. She holds a MS degree in General Administration from Central Michigan University and a BA
degree in Education from the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga, where she was a distinguished
military graduate. A retired U.S. Army Colonel, her 27-year career culminated in key command and staff
positions including Commander, 102d Military Intelligence Battalion, 2d Infantry Division, Republic of
Korea; Commander, 704th Military Intelligence Brigade, U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command
(INSCOM), Ft. Meade, MD; and J2, Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE)/Allied Command
Operations (ACO) supporting NATO/multi-national operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, the Balkans, and Africa.
Since retiring from the military in 2006, Ms. Beckworth has served in both small and large defense
corporations, successfully leading business development, capture, and profit and loss operations valued
at $20 million annual revenue.
John Yencha - Vice President & Business Unit Manager
Mr. Yencha joined Invertix in March 2009 after serving with Northrop Grumman as the USMC DCGS Program Manager
and with BAE as the Washington Office Director for Intelligence and Precision Targeting Systems. Prior to BAE,
he served for 24 years in the Marine Corps. His diverse assignments included directing the Navy/Marine Corps F/A-18 Reconnaissance
program at NAVAIRSYSCOM and managing the Marine Corps portion of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) program for
Office of Secretary of Defense. In addition, he served as the MARCORSYSCOM Director of Intelligence Programs
prior to his retirement from the Corps. Mr. Yencha holds a Masters in Management from Salve Regina University, and a
BS from the United States Naval Academy. He resides in Locust Grove, VA with his wife Linda.
Peter Kane - Vice President & Business Unit Manager
Mr. Kane has a broad technical background engaged in the full life cycle of
national level programs from core research through development and operations.
He has lead teams through the development and integration of space and ground
systems enabling some of the first ever capabilities in communications and remote sensing.
Peter received a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the
University of Colorado in 1980 and a MSEE from Colorado State University in
1987. Now living in Las Cruces, NM, he is married with two grown children.
Barbara Trent - Vice President
Ms. Trent joined Invertix following a successful Military Intelligence career with the
United States Army, retiring as a Colonel in 2008. In her current role she is responsible
for the management and development of the company's business in support of Border Security
and is based out of the Las Cruces, NM office. Previously she was responsible for the
management and development of one of the company's business units with clients spanning
the intelligence, defense, and R&D communities. Ms. Trent received her commission following
graduation from the New Mexico Military Institute and received a BS in Criminal Justice
from New Mexico State University. During her 29 years of service, she had several assignments
supporting overseas operations including deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan as the Deputy Science
Advisor for the U.S. Army's Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) and the Army's G2 and her
final assignment as the Military Deputy to the Director of the National Security Agency's Science Advisor.
