Engineering
Systems Engineering
Invertix provides system engineering and other related technical
assistance services to satisfy customer needs, including: requirements
development and tracking; complete lifecycle planning support
from development to disposal; user documentation and training;
configuration management; creation and management of work breakdown
structures; and decision support. We work closely with our customers
to perform testing, integration and fielding of operational systems.
Invertix system engineering capabilities can be effectively applied
in singular and enterprise-wide system development efforts across
the broad field of information technology and communications.
We also have subject experts in the definition and design of wired
and open-air communications architectures and interfaces.
Software Engineering
Invertix software engineering capabilities in open-air communication
include: mobile messaging, wireless remote monitoring systems,
wireless and IP technologies, RF network and communications engineering,
and wireless communications. Software engineering addresses the
functionality, reliability, maintainability, availability, ease-of-use,
and portability of any developed code or applications. Invertix
addresses these characteristics through detailed design and technical
specifications. Our software engineers have significant experience
in Wireless Device Specific protocols including SS7, SMS, WAP,
MMS, and SIM Toolkit. We also have experience with a wide array
of application programming, such as: Openwave, J2ME, Brew, Symbian;
as well as multiple programming languages: C/C++, Java, J2EE,
ASP/.NET, PHP, and JSP; and databases (Oracle 9i, 10g, and MySQL).
Invertix has designed, built, and deployed numerous carrier-class
wireless mission critical applications built upon advanced 2-way
replicated and clustered databases (Oracle). Invertix effectively
manages the cost of development, project duration, and risk. Current
customers are members of the Federal Government and Commercial
Wireless Carriers.
Test and Evaluation
Invertix understands the importance of testing and evaluation
against definitive success criteria. We provide planning support
by developing and establishing tests during all early fielding
and operational phases of a program. We have the domain and subject
matter expertise to successfully coordinate test and evaluation
activities across multiple stakeholders. This ensures successful
validatation of end items and allows for a more accurate prediction
of the benefit to the given organization. Invertix has experience
with Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) to ensure
that systems meet operational requirements and design specifications.
