Invertix Corporation announced today its corporate sponsorship of the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF). With this key sponsorship, Invertix joins the ranks of industry partners that comprise the GEOINT Community of Interest focused on contributing to the enhancement of GEOINT as the premier foundational knowledge base upon which data/information derives its spatial and temporal context.

USGIF is a non-profit educational foundation dedicated to promoting the geospatial intelligence tradecraft and developing a stronger GEOINT Community, bringing together government, industry, academia, professional organizations and individuals whose mission is the development and application of geospatial intelligence to address national security challenges.

The corporate decision to embrace USGIF sponsorship came following Invertix participation in GEOINT 2010 in New Orleans. Invertix Chief Scientist Dr. Dan Law stated, "Invertix is excited to work as a member of USGIF to leverage advanced Cloud and analytic technologies in support of the Foundation's mission and the community it serves."

Invertix will participate in the New Member Showcase in GEOINT 2011, October 16-19, in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.
